Attend the Centennial Rally and be part of a historic effort for equal rights that began over a century ago. The rally both honors the struggle for voting rights and takes on unfinished business. 35 states have ratified the Equal Rights Amendment - VIRGINIA IS NOT ONE OF THEM. Only three more states are needed!

"Equality of rights under the law shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any state on account of sex." Your presence in Richmond will demonstrate to the General Assembly that women care about the ERA. If you cannot come, call your Delegate or Senator to let them know of your support.

Why Redistricting Matters. Featuring Brian Cannon, OneVirginia2021 & Sara Fitzgerald, League of Women Voters
This year, federal courts, state courts, and state legislatures are considering redistricting issues. These decisions, and how they are addressed, will affect every Virginian. The term "gerrymandering" is the manipulation of legislative district boundaries and Virginia has been ranked as one of the most gerrymandered states in the nation. Lines are redrawn in the Commonwealth after every 10-year census -- and in 2021 the Virginia General Assembly will sign state and Congressional maps into law.
Come learn more about the potential impact of the redistricting process in Virginia and across the nation at this special public forum hosted by George Mason University's School of Policy, Government International Affairs with OneVirginia2012, The League of Women Voters (LWV) of Arlington, The LWV of Falls Church, and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Interfaith Center for Public Policy.
